    GCL Alumni Rocky Boiman explains what it takes to reach your goals to the Carroll Football Team.

    NFL and Notre Dame Alum Rocky Boiman visited the Fighting Patriot Football Team July 18th as part of the Carroll Athletic Club Leadership Series. He was introduced by his close friend Mack Mariani who is the Director of Political Science at Xavier University. Rocky's message to the team consisted of three life lessons: focus only on the things you can control, no excuses - no explanations, and prepare, prepare, and prepare. Rocky and the team were treated to lunch in the cafeteria. The boys and Rocky had a great time together, even though the team was unsuccessful in convincing Rocky to give them Payton Mannings cell phone number.

    '83 Alum Bob Franz Inducted Into the MVFCA Hall of Fame


    Bob was an All-Star Football Player and Wrestler at Carroll. Here he is coaching at Fairmont High School.

    During halftime of the North/South All-Star Football Game held at Centerville stadium on Friday June 8th, '83 Alum Bob Franz was inducted into the MVFCA Hall of Fame. 

    It was well deserved recognition for a great guy and outstanding coach. Bob played his college football career at Earlham and began coaching soon after graduation. 

    Bob, thanks for your years of dedicated coaching and for making Carroll High School proud.
